Coffee Price News:
To our valued coffee customers,
Many of you have discovered the unique joy of Clean Food’s Café Altura biodynamic coffee. This is the only Demeter certified biodynamic coffee available in the US. You likely understand that the processes used to grow biodynamic foods are much more time and energy intensive than for conventionally, or even organically grown items; it is a process filled with love and care for the Earth.
Unfortunately Café Altura has recently had to raise their wholesale prices for their biodynamic coffee. I have included the text from their note to the Steiner Storehouse here so you can have the context for why our prices will also be raised.
Chris at Café Altura was kind enough to let us place a last order at the ‘old’ prices, so we currently have a little more stock than usual, which we are continuing to sell at the ‘old’ price, even though it is the ‘new’ coffee. But when this coffee is gone our prices will be higher. If you are one of our customers who enjoys this special coffee, we wanted to give you a heads-up in case you wished to order extra coffee at the old price, and to prepare you if you were to order again and discover a change in the price.
