Beeswax Candles

Our candle producer, Hinode Farm, is a small, family-owned business located in a sunny valley along Sardine Creek in Southern Oregon. Hinode Farm was established in 1980 and their candles of beeswax truly embody the essence of life. The honeybees that make the wax also live in the Pacific Northwest.

All of their candles are pure beeswax, the ideal wax for candles, burning cleanly and beautifully without additives. The beeswax is melted and filtered through cloth to remove any debris, then simply made into candles. Hinode Farm never uses any wick with a metal core, thereby eliminating the risk of toxicity from burning metal. All Hinode Farm candles use one of three types of cotton wick: flat braid, square braid and paper core wick, chosen to ensure the best possible melting for the candle's size
