Steiner Storehouse - Our Founding Impulse

Inspired by the early 20th century philosopher Rudolf Steiner, a new spirit of understanding pervaded the realm of education giving rise to the WALDORF SCHOOL movement worldwide. Similarly, the arts and sciences were renewed with a redefining of humankind's place in the universe, and the age old concepts of Karma and Reincarnation placed in a context of modern Christianity. The field of medicine has been extended by this new philosophy called Anthroposophy, utilizing alchemicaly prepared remedies, body care products and cosmetics. Biodynamicaly grown foods nurtured in accordance with cosmic principles are available edibles. Natural and beautifully textured and softly colored childrens toys, books and clothing - and a multitude of gifts are available, as are similar products for adults. An enticing array of wonderful books, art work and stationary concerning these concepts are on display.

The mission of Steiner Storehouse is to procure or produce Anthroposophically inspired products and to facilitate their availability to the public while equitably supporting the work of the Anthroposophically-oriented authors, craftspersons, artisans, and artists.
