Domestic Orders

Steiner Storehouse ships all domestic orders via Priority Mail or UPS depending upon both cost and practicality. Postal regulations require that flammable liquids be shipped via UPS. Therefore we are obliged to send alcohol-based home remedies via UPS.

Effective November 7, 2007.  Due to the rising cost of shipping we are taking measures to cover our costs.  Where possible we offer a flat rate of $8.95 for packages shipped within the continental United States. Heavier items will be charged the actual cost of shipping, and are identified by the notation, "Actual shipping cost charged for orders containing this item."   We are currently researching whether there is any way to get better shipping rates, and we appreciate your understanding.

International Orders

International orders, or orders outside of the continental United States are shipped via the US Postal Service Global Priority Mail, and Airmail, or United Parcel Service. We also ship USPS International Parcel Post upon request.

We charge only the exact postage required, and when you place your order we will choose the lowest shipping cost and send you an e-mail to have you confirm the cost. You must confirm the shipping cost before we charge you or ship your items, unless you request differently in the Special Instructions box upon making your order; your order will be canceled if we do not hear from you within seven days of sending your confirmation e-mail.

We regret that postal regulations prevent us from shipping flammable liquids out of the United States; we are also subject to individual country regulation and may be prevented from shipping food or seeds to you.
