I created Uriel Pharmacy in 1996 to meet the needs of anthroposophically oriented health practitioners and their patients. Located in rural Wisconsin, we hand-make natural medicines designed for the whole human being, using ingredients from our own biodynamic gardens. I've been working in this field for over 25 years. In fact, I became a pharmacist just so I could do this kind of creative, different work! My goal is not corporate growth or increased market share, but to respond to real needs. The biggest need I see in medicine is to change our way of thinking. Real progress in healing will come when we are able to think of illness and remedies in living pictures rather than freeze-dried intellectual concepts.

It is an ancient truth that the world of nature is related to the parts of the human being because it once was part of us. This is a key for finding new remedies in individual situations. The physician can look for which nature processes are out of order or out of place and then design a treatment to harmonize them. My idea of success is to bring this connection with nature and the cosmos to consciousness again, to experience it as a reality. Then we will really be able to speak truth and make good medicine, the medicine of the future.

Graceful and Effective

Uriel Pharmacy Aurum Lavender Rose Cream Aurum Lavender Rose is usually applied over the heart and chest area twice daily, although the oil may be used for general massage of the whole body at any time. It provides a calming, protective buffer when we feel stressed or oversensitive to the environment (both body and soul!). People with heart ailments also find it very helpful. Described in another way, it helps overcome the experience of being "thin-skinned". 60 ml (2 fl. oz) $22.50

Uriel Pharmacy Plantain/Beeswax Ointment Soothes respiratory and bronchial ailments. After rubbing this wonderful cream on your chest you will soon feel the warm protecting influence that it provides. Plantain leaf soothes mucous membranes, recues the cough reflex and counters inflammation. Sundew (Drosera) has an antispasmodic effect on bronchial musculature in cases of excessive secretion in the bronchi. It is used for whooping cough. Butterbur root counters excessive bronchial secretions and tissue swelling in the lungs. Camphor and larch resin stimulate warmth in cases of excessive cooling such as lungs suffering from bronchitis or pneumonia. Essential oil of eucalyptus, thyme and lavender all stimulate warmth to counter cooling processes in the lungs. Beeswax provides a protecting, warming influence, as does olive oil. 60 ml (2 fl. oz) $22.50

Uriel Pharmacy Arnica/Echinacea Cream Arnica/Echinacea Ointment is a water based, non-greasy formula to help heal traumas to tissues and bones. This very effective formula can be used for sprains, bruises, sore muscles, etc. Rub this cream onto the affected area as needed. All ingredients are potentized. Arnica is well-known for its effect against trauma of all kinds, bruises, sprains, etc. Comfrey activates the fluid processes to accelerate healing of tissue and bones. Calendula and chamomile promote healing of wounds and prevent infection, while witch hazel, hepar sulfuris and mercurius solubilis are active countering inflammation and abscess formation. Ingredients: arnica, echinacea, yarrow, monkshood, english daisy, belladonna, calendula, chamomile, witch hazel, comfrey, hepar sulfuris, mercurius solubilis and lavender oil, in a water-washable cream base. 60ml (2 oz.) $22.50
